Fishare poorly represented in poetry and such. The trouble is that people don't like fishes very much. Like fish? Pish! Fact is, we're cold, and wet, and rough and scaly, not cute and furry with a fluffy tail-ey. Most people think a puppy's sweet, while a fish is only … good to eat. And fish that give a soulful look, are rewarded with a baited hook. You can't give a fish a loving pat, Drat! You'd be fonder of a rat. So what's a poor old fish to do, to be put in books, and not fish stew? Let's hear it for the fish! Oh pish! |
