How Lonely One Can Get

My darling it’s so long since we last met,
and do you know how lonely one can get?

My life was bliss from that first smile you gave,

would burst with joy. Then soon I found I’d crave

of me to be a part of you. Enslave
me, I was begging you! I’m not too smart.

reversal saw you yearn for me. I could

for me, but now you’re hooked, I guess you should

have some idea how lonely one can get.
