Ode to My Favourite Bra
to the pattern of Keats' Ode to Autumn
You need not be so beautiful, with lace
inserts and satin bows, (although I love
your lace!), you could be drab and commonplace
and do your job as well. I swell above
your cups just so, but never overflow,
because you clasp me perfectly. You shape
my assets to a youthful tilt; impart
such confidence, that now I dare to drape
this gown around my breasts and we can go
out on the town. We'll put on quite a show!
My bosom friend you're charming, cross my heart.
