Two's A Crowd

While "three's a crowd", is often heard,
a crowd of two seems quite absurd
and in a house that's built for four,
two people should have room - and more!

To stand in line to clean their teeth
is fantasy beyond belief,
and the question of congestion
is indeed a vexing question,
but traffic lights along the hall
doesn't answer it at all.

You'd think two people wouldn't race
to use the same two feet of space,
that two would never need to queue
to go through doors or use the loo,
but we two do.
