The world that I would like to see
Contains the soul of poetry.
Look deep within to find the roots.
To judge a tree, just taste its fruits.
If mankind would but disapprove,
All the guns would be removed.
The children all would laugh and play.
No gun would steal their life away.
In my world we would all be free,
Rejoicing in our unity.
Another fruit that casts its seeds
Is when our words equal our deeds.
May man be judged by what he knows;
Let poetry stand next to prose.
With pen in hand I now shall draw
A world that has no need of law.
No one will experience hunger
Or want to change by looking younger.
No one shall feel unloved or flawed,
For every soul is part of God.
